At the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, Türkiye occupies a strategic position for international railway transport, especially European, for both freight and passenger transport.

Since 2003, Türkiye has been one of the countries strongly supporting rail transport as a solution for economic and social development. The country has accelerated investments both in infrastructure development and in the local production of rolling stock.

USD 67,95 billion will be invested in rail development by 2053, representing 34% of the total budget of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.



In its quest to enhance competencies in train construction, Türkiye offers significant opportunities for recognized European players in the railway industry, including engineering, consultancy, and equipment sectors.
