Molecor inaugurates its new production facility in Türkiye

Spanish pipe manufacturer Molecor has officially opened a new production facility in Alaşehir, Manisa, Türkiye, following an investment of approximately €25m. The plant will manufacture oriented PVC (O-PVC) pipes for drinking water supply and infrastructure applications.
The 12,500m² facility represents an expansion of Molecor’s international manufacturing operations and is intended to strengthen its position in the Turkish market while supporting demand for water infrastructure products across the region.
According to Türkiye’s Investment and Finance Office, the plant currently employs 44 people, with plans to increase both its workforce and production capacity as operations develop.
The investment is also expected to support domestic manufacturing, facilitate technology transfer, reduce reliance on imported products and create opportunities for exports.
Supporting water infrastructure
The new facility will manufacture O-PVC pipes using Molecor’s molecular orientation technology, which is used to produce pipes for pressurised water distribution networks.
Establishing production in Türkiye brings manufacturing closer to local customers and infrastructure projects, while giving the company a stronger base from which to serve neighbouring markets.
Molecor says the investment forms part of its international growth strategy and reflects its long-term commitment to the Turkish market and the development of water infrastructure.
International investment
The inauguration, held during October, brought together representatives from Turkish government institutions, customers, business partners and professionals from the water and infrastructure sectors.
Among those attending was Burak Dağlıoğlu, President of the Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. Molecor was represented by co-founder and CEO Ignacio Muñoz de Juan, Vice Chairman Ahmet Attaroğlu and Molecor Türkiye CEO Fuat Attaroğlu.
The opening adds Türkiye to Molecor’s manufacturing network and extends the company’s international production presence. The company already operates production facilities in Spain, Paraguay, South Africa and Malaysia, alongside its commercial operations in several international markets.
