CyberFOX acquires Türkiye-based Timus Networks

U.S.-based cybersecurity company CyberFOX announced the acquisition of Timus Networks, a company specializing in cloud-based secure access solutions. Through this acquisition, CyberFOX aims to integrate Timus' Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) capabilities into its platform, providing enterprise customers with a more comprehensive cybersecurity infrastructure through a single solution.

CyberFOX announced the acquisition of Timus Networks, a developer of 100% cloud-native Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions. As part of the transaction, Timus' technologies—including secure network access, secure web access, and adaptive security policies—will be integrated into CyberFOX's cybersecurity platform.

The acquisition will enable CyberFOX to deliver a more comprehensive and proactive security infrastructure through a single platform. Timus' SASE solution will enhance CyberFOX's product portfolio with capabilities such as Zero Trust architecture as an alternative to traditional VPN infrastructures, always-on secure connectivity, real-time risk analytics, granular user- and device-based policy management, and high-performance global network access.

Commenting on the acquisition, CyberFOX CEO David Bellini described Timus as a key component of the company's long-term growth strategy:

"Our customers want to purchase their security solutions from a smaller number of trusted technology providers. By bringing Timus into CyberFOX, we will be able to deliver the secure network access capabilities they need through a best-in-class, field-proven solution. SASE, including ZTNA, was one of the most strategic additions we could make to our portfolio. Timus is exactly the platform we would have built ourselves if we were starting from scratch today. It is now part of CyberFOX, and our customers will begin benefiting from it immediately."

Following the acquisition, Timus Networks will continue operating under its existing brand in the short term. There will be no changes to services, support processes, or

contractual agreements for existing customers and partners. Over time, Timus' products and partner ecosystem will be progressively integrated into the CyberFOX platform.

Ahmet Polat, Partner and CEO of Timus Networks, commented:

"Since our founding, our mission has been to redefine secure access for enterprises through a cloud-native, user-centric approach. By joining forces with CyberFOX, we will bring our technology to a much broader global customer base and accelerate the scaling of our platform. This combination will increase our pace of innovation while further strengthening the value we deliver to our customers and business partners."

The acquisition follows CyberFOX's growth investment completed earlier this year and represents another major milestone in the company's expansion strategy, which focuses on product development, artificial intelligence investments, international growth, and strategic acquisitions.

Merve Zabcı, Co-Founder of Metis Ventures, also commented on the transaction:

"When we invested in Timus Networks, we believed that Tuğrul Tekbulut's vision and experience gained at Logo Yazılım, combined with Ahmet Polat's strong founding team and engineering expertise, had the potential to build a globally competitive cybersecurity company. CyberFOX's acquisition is a strong validation of the international value created by the technology developed by the Timus team. The fact that technology startups emerging from Türkiye are becoming the target of strategic acquisitions by global players represents a significant milestone—not only for Timus, but also for demonstrating the competitiveness of Türkiye's technology and entrepreneurial ecosystem."
