Advantis Consulting is looking for a Turkish & English bilingual Sales Manager to join ACNIS International, a leading French company specialized in the storage and distribution of advanced metallic materials for high-tech industries such as medical, aerospace, dental… including powders for additive manufacturing.


Since 1991, ACNIS International delivers quality products immediately available from stock of titanium and other metals in bars, sheets or powder. Represented by a team of 60 based on three continents, ACNIS keeps expanding its global footprint.



Job description


The position involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in Türkiye (and a larger region in a second time). The Sales manager will be the key contact for Turkish clients, responsible for understanding their needs, proposing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction while meeting commercial targets. The Sales Manager will report to VPs of Sales in Europe and work closely with quality, sales and purchasing departments of the Group.


This position therefore requires professional advanced level of English and frequent travel. 



Responsibilities


1 - Boosting current client portfolio, customer satisfaction, and upselling


  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions and support.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Keep customer records and interactions updated in the CRM system.
  • Analyse customer history and buying behaviour to identify upselling opportunities.
  • Draw up, register, and sign quotations and sales offers.
  • Review and manage customer contracts.
  • Manage orders and ensure proper assignment of equipment
  • Select appropriate sources/products to match customer requirements


2 – Business development


  • Actively prospect in the field to identify and convert new customers.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to uncover growth potential.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company and attract new clients.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to enter or grow in new segments.


3 – Sales administration 


  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Organize regular team meetings to monitor progress and align on targets.
  • Coordinate with inventory/supply teams to ensure product availability.
  • Support the inventory process and ensure readiness for customer demand.



Required skills and expertise


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Min. 5 years of experience in a similar commercial role
  • Strong commercial acumen: skilled in customer relationship management, negotiation, versatility, business development strategy
  • Knowledge of the products and high-tech industries (medical, aerospace, dental…) is a plus
  • Technical background or a strong interest in technical products is a plus
  • Excellent command of Turkish and English (both written and spoken (professional level required)
  • Proficient in MS office tools (Excel, Word, ppt, outlook) 
  • Experience with ERP & CRM systems is preferred (Invex, Salesforce, Therefore…)
  • Familiar with quality standards and procedures (ASTM, ISO…)
  • Highly organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and result-driven in business follow-up
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, particularly when working with international management and teams
  • Eligible to work full-time in Türkiye and able to travel without legal or personal restriction within Türkiye and abroad (HQ visits, trainings, quarterly meetings, client visits…)
  • Knowledge of French is a strong asset; knowledge of any other European language is a plus
